Obituary for Stephen Mastin

Stephen  Mastin
Stephen Mastin – 76 of Port Monmouth, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at his home. Stephen was born on August 26, 1942 in Jersey City, NJ. Stephen met his wife Rachael Anne and after raising their family in Jersey City decided to retire in Port Monmouth, NJ. Stephen worked as a carpenter his whole life providing for his family. Stephen is predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Veronica, as well as his brother Gilbert. He is the beloved husband of his wife Rachael Anne for 55 wonderful years. He is the devoted father of his children Sherri Anne and her husband Michael, Dawn Marie, and Stephanie and her husband Francisco. He is the caring brother to his siblings Janet, Eileen, and Donald. Stephen is survived by his grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Samantha, Gia Marie, and Anthony. Stephen had many joys in life, some of which were fishing, the beach, woodworking and his pride and joy his dog Sophie. Of all his joys in life it was his family and especially his grandchildren that made him shine brightest. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the Family requests that donations be made to your local Ronald McDonald House.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine’s Laboure in Middletown, NJ at 10:30am on Friday October 19, 2018. Entombment to follow at Green Grove Cemetery in Keyport NJ.
