Ruth  Kugelman
It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Patricia Kugelman announces her passing, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the age of 84. She is predeceased by her husband, Jack Kugelman, and her grandson Jason Cerqua. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children, sons Jack Kugelman and wife Terri, Tom Kugelman and wife Mary, Alan Kugelman and wife Kim, and Scott Kugelman and wife Lucy. Daughters Diane Kutschman and husband Dan, and Carole Cerqua. Grandchildren, Stephen, Emily, Yasmine, Lindsay, Kristen, Daniel, Jacqueline, Mason, Megan, and Max. Great grandchildren Trista, Jordon, Araya, and Ava. And Jane Loihle, her childhood friend and sister in law, who she dearly loved.

Ruth was born on December 14, 1933, in West New York, NJ to James and Elsie Madden. She is predeceased by her brothers, Bob, Lloyd, and Jimmy, and her sister Alice. Ruth grew up in Atlantic Highlands, and raised her children in Middletown, NJ. She was an avid reader, a superb cook, and would dance to anything Sinatra. She loved to entertain, and participate in her children’s school and social activities. Being a great mom, and friend, just came naturally to her, and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be truly missed.

Visitation will take place on Monday, May 14 from 4-8pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, 1735 Route 35, Middletown. The funeral is at 10am on Tuesday May 15. Burial to follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetary, Hazlet.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruth’s memory to the Missy Maloney Childrens Fund, 18 Netty St, Howell, NJ 07731.
