Obituary for Florence McInerney

Florence  McInerney
Florence McInerney – 92 of Hazlet passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel NJ. Florence was born on February 4, 1925 in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated High School and met her husband Martin McInerney. Florence was a special police officer since 1963, as well as past president of UB Fire Co. #1 ladies auxiliary, UB Seniors, a member of Golden Age Middle Road Village, Hazlet Seniors, V.F.W. Ladies auxiliary of Hazlet Post 4303 and past chair of UB Recreation Commission. Florence is predeceased by her husband Martin Sr. as well as her sister Rita. Florence is the loving mother of her sons Martin and Dennis. She is survived by her adoring grandchildren Jennifer, Dennis, and Daniel, as well as her great grandchildren Madison and Dylan. Florence had many joys in life but none were as important as her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Florence will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Route 35, Middletown NJ 07748 on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 4 – 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday December 22, 2017 at 10am at Holy Family Church in Hazlet. Entombment to follow at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls.
